We haven’t been calling ourselves by the correct name lately. Truth be told, the real name of our event should be Earth Day Food and Wine and Beer and Cider. However, that doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, and it would be really hard to fit all that wording on our event glasses and groovy festival gear.
If it’s okay with you, we’ll just stick with Earth Day Food & Wine , aka EDFW, or #EDFW for all you savvy social media users.
As for beer and cider, we’ve got a great start to our lineup of local vendors for the Main Event on Saturday, April 23. Already on board are Firestone Walker Brewing Company, Toro Creek Brewing Company, and See Canyon Cider. By festival time, we should have several more on tap as well!
As if that weren’t sudsational enough, KRUSH radio station and the “Craft Beer Radio” show will be hosting a Beer Garden on Saturday. We can’t promise wenches carrying beer steins and guys wearing Lederhosen, but it should be a rousing good time.
So, we hope you’ll forgive us for the slight confusion in our name. Mea Gulpa … or rather, Mea Culpa!
