Enter our first-ever Earth Day Food & Wine Weekend Raffle for a chance to experience a local gem, up close and personal. Earth Day supporter Saxum Vineyards is opening their doors for an exclusive, not-open-to-the-public tour of their award winning vineyards, winery and their brand new cave—and you can’t win if you don’t play!
Tickets are $50, and we are limiting entries to the first 200. 100% of the proceeds of our raffle will benefit the Vineyard Team’s Educational Scholarship.
Here are the details:
Join Justin Smith for a private tour of Saxum Vineyard’s new caves located beneath James Berry Vineyard in the Willow Creek District of Paso Robles. Although Saxum is usually closed to the public, Justin and his wife Heather are offering you and three guests a private tour of their property and vineyards. Enjoy a ride through the steep hillsides of James Berry Vineyard while gaining insight into its history and Justin’s farming practices. Afterward, he’ll discuss Saxum’s evolution in the cellar while he offers a tasting of the seven different cuvées, which include Broken Stones, James Berry Vineyard, Bone Rock, Booker Vineyard, Paderewski Vineyard, Heart Stone Vineyard and Terry Hoage Vineyard. (4 people. To be scheduled on a mutually agreeable date after the 2013 vintage is bottled in August, 2015).
After the tour and tasting, look forward to receiving a set of six magnums from Saxum’s 2013 vintage (ships in the fall of 2015, weather permitting).
Buy your tickets today for a chance to win an exclusive tour of one of our most exciting locations AND benefit vineyard worker education to boot.
