Thank you for supporting earth friendly cuisine and sustainable farmers at Earth Day Food & Wine! After 10 successful years, we’ve decided to continue our mission in other ways and not host Earth Day Food & Wine’s main event.
We're proud of what we inspired. What used to be novel is now mainstream. With your support, we raised the bar for innovative consumer events.
At Earth Day Food & Wine, we created a casual yet elegant celebration connecting sustainably minded consumers and producers in the spirit of Earth Day. It was an unusual concept, and more often than not, those early years were met with quizzical stares. But in our mind, we thought, “What's more earthy than a farmer?”
Earth Day Food & Wine created a lot of firsts: first to celebrate farmers as environmental stewards; first to highlight farmer and chef pairings; first to eliminate plastic water bottles; first to highlight SIP Certified wines, first to produce a zero waste event. In the last two years, we raised $20K for educational scholarships for employees of vineyard workers who were all first generation college students.
What will our next chapter look like? It's hard to say, but I'm confident we’ll innovate with a lot of new firsts.
