The Earth Day Food & Wine Weekend’s main event is at the meadow at Castoro Cellars on April 12th from 1-5pm and is set up festival style with winery and food stations interspersed among exhibitor booths; elbow to elbow servin’ up fantastic foods and delicious wines (and beer!). Booths are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Winery participation is limited to 2014 Vineyard Team Winery Members. Wineries are responsible for bringing wine to pour for 800 people (2-3 cases), along with the usual implements (openers, ice containers, dump buckets, promotional material). The event will provide a 6′ table, linen, signage, and ice. We ask you to invite your growers to pour wine and answer questions about sustainable farming practices. Showcase Wineries receive all of the benefits of Attending Wineries plus Premiere booth placement, logo in e-blasts, and two General Admission tickets.
Food Artisans provide 600 tastes and may choose to either collaborate with e Farmer or Producer or showcase a dish directly from their menu. Food products such as olive oil, vinegars, butters, and spices must be part of a prepared dish in order to be considered a Food Artisan otherwise they must register as Exhibitors. Due to the event’s health permit, Food Artisans cannot sell product including pre-packaged items.
Contributions of locally grown and produced products are donated to Food Artisans to showcase product in show-stopping dishes. Farmers and Producers can either help the Food Artisans serve the food or simply enjoy the event – your choice!
Exhibitors at the event highlight innovative and earth-friendly products and services. Vineyard Team members receive a $150 discount.
